Scope
This policy applies to the Mineight website, the SchedHero mobile app, account and family routine features, support email, and service operation tools. Third-party services such as app stores, social login providers, and payment providers may apply their own terms and privacy policies.
Information we process, purposes, and retention

Legal basis and consent
Mineight processes personal information to perform the service contract, respond to user requests, comply with legal obligations, protect service security and stability, and process information based on user consent where required. Optional features or additional collection will be handled within the scope of separate consent.
Children's information and guardian control
SchedHero is a family routine service used by guardians and children together. Child profiles are created directly by the guardian; children cannot sign up on their own. For children under 14, Mineight processes the child's personal information with the consent of the legal guardian, obtained when the guardian creates the child profile, and records the time and document version of that consent. The only information collected about a child is a name or nickname — no birth date or contact details are collected. Guardians or legal representatives can view, correct, and delete the child's information in the app at any time and may request that processing be suspended. The child mode also provides a privacy notice written in language children can easily understand.
Third-party disclosure
Mineight does not sell personal information. Mineight may disclose personal information only when required by law, requested through a lawful authority request, entrusted to service providers needed to operate the service, or separately authorized by the user.

Mineight may use the following service providers to operate the website and SchedHero service. Mineight will update this table when the actual providers or processing scope changes.

Retention and deletion
Mineight deletes personal information without undue delay when the retention period expires or the processing purpose is fulfilled. Electronic files are deleted in a way that makes recovery difficult, and paper records, if any, are shredded or destroyed by an equivalent method. Information that must be retained under applicable law is stored separately for the required period and then deleted.
Security
Mineight uses reasonable technical and organizational measures such as HTTPS, access controls, account protection, data minimization, limited operational access, and security updates to protect personal information.
User and guardian rights
Users and legal guardians may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or withdrawal of consent where available under applicable law. Requests can be sent to [email protected]. Mineight may verify the requester before processing a request.
Behavioral information, ads, and automated decisions
Mineight does not currently make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on users, and it does not collect advertising identifiers for personalized advertising. If Mineight introduces behavioral data, advertising, or automated decision features, this policy will be updated with the relevant information, purposes, retention periods, and opt-out methods.
Changes to this policy
Mineight may update this policy when service features, information processed, service providers, legal requirements, or operating practices change. Important updates will be posted on the website, in the app, or through another appropriate method.
