GUNFERNO account and data deletion

Delete in the app

1. Open GUNFERNO.
2. Go to Settings → Account → Delete account from the gear at the top right of the lobby.
3. Read the notice, type DELETE in the field, and tap Delete permanently.

What is deleted

Deleting your account removes the guest account and any linked external account information, your nickname, match history, season tier and rank points, Glodesil and Clip balances, owned machines and weapons, machine upgrade levels, and app settings. Any name still shown on a leaderboard becomes anonymous at the moment of deletion.

Uninstalling is not the same as deleting

GUNFERNO starts with a guest account tied to your device. Uninstalling the app or resetting the device means that device can no longer reach the account, but the game data stored on the server remains. To remove the data as well, use the in-app deletion above or request it as described below.

If you cannot open the app

If you cannot delete from the app, for example after losing the device, email [email protected] with your nickname and the account ID you copied from Settings → Account, or the external account you linked. We complete the request within 7 business days after verification and confirm by email. A guest account whose ID is unknown cannot be identified on the server, so the request may not be possible.

What is retained

Nothing listed above is retained after deletion. Where a law requires retention of specific records, that information is kept separately only for the statutory period and then destroyed.
